Square dance with live band at Glen Ellyn Library!

The Glen Ellyn Library invites people of all ages to the library for a free evening of family-friendly fun. On Thursday February 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, the Golden Horse Square Dance Band will guide attendees through basic square dance steps as they delight with country tunes.

Fresh on the heels of the popular Swinging thru the Stacks minigolf fundraiser, the library wants to continue encouraging families to visit the library as a welcoming community hub. “The library is about so much more than books these days,” Glen Ellyn Public Library Director Dawn Bussey says. “Our community has responded so well to events that any family member may attend. We want to continue serving our patrons in both innovative and traditional ways – whether that’s finding your next favorite book or bringing a live band to the library, we’re interested in being there for you.”

The library looks forward to welcoming the community into the library for this unique program. Visit gepl.org to learn more.
