I was listening to WBEZ, Chicago’s public radio station, the other day, and I heard a story I thought many of our computer class patrons would love to hear. I often teach Facebook, Twitter and blogging classes at GEPL. The story on WBEZ’s Eight Forty-Eight show really did a good job of explaining just how Twitter works, from scratch. They don’t even use confusing lingo!
The first part of the story is a discussion of the pros and cons of the Illinois Eavesdropping Act, followed by some Chicago theater news. The explanation of how to use Twitter isn’t until the last 22 minutes and 30 seconds of the show. Visit WBEZ’s website to stream or download this episode of the show to learn Twitter basics.
