My husband claims I am the world’s worst photographer. So he bought me a new camera for Christmas thinking more pixels might help. It hasn’t helped much so far. I know I can use all the guidance I can get with the use of my new Nikon CoolPix.
George LeClaire knows a thing or two about photography. He has been a photojournalist with the Daily Herald since 1995. I will certainly be paying attention when he comes to the library on Thursday, April 12 to teach us amateurs how to take great photos. He has been teaching photography and photojournalism classes for 14 years. He has won national awards for multimedia production and is a member of the Illinois and National Press Photographers Association. So he knows a thing or two about instructing even the sorriest photographers like me how to take beautiful photos.
Be sure to bring your owner’s manual with you since all cameras are a bit different. And if you don’t have a camera and are thinking about buying one, George can give you great advice about your purchase.
