The Glen Ellyn Public Library Now Offers Tax Forms

The Glen Ellyn Public Library now has a limited number of tax forms. All other forms can be printed from the IRS website. We would be happy to print forms for patrons at the 2nd floor information desk at 10 cents per page.

Free tax assistance at COD

  • Call (800) TAX-FORM (1-800-829-3676) to order federal forms by phone
  • Call (800) TAX-1040 (1-800-829-1040) for federal tax information
  • Visit an IRS Taxpayer Assitance Center (TAC)
  • Individuals making $50,000 or less can use the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program for free tax preparation and, in many cases, free electronic filing. Phone: (800) 906-9887
  • Individuals aged 60 and older can take advantage of free tax counseling and basic income tax preparation through Tax Counseling for the Elderly
  • IRS Free File provides options for free brand-name tax software or online fillale forms plus free electronic filing. For more information, visit IRS Free File on IRS.gov
  • Call (800) 356-6302 to order state forms by phone
  • Call (800) 732-8866 or (217) 782-3336 (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) for state tax information
Tax Advice for Seniors
Beginning February 4, 2013 the Glen Ellyn Park District is offering tax help for seniors by appointment. Call (630) 858-2463 for details.

COD accounting students will offer their services for free under instructor supervision through April. Sessions are from 9 to 11:30 on Saturdays, February 16 and 23, March 9, 16 and 23, and April 6 in the Berg Instruction Center (BIC), rooms 1640 and 1644.
