Northern Illinois Food Bank to Discuss Hunger with Youth

news-blog-bannerMembers of the Northern Illinois Food bank will generously donate their time this Wednesday for an interactive youth-based program called Feed: Foster. Educate. Engage. Deploy.

During the program, volunteers will discuss with youth what it might feel like to be hungry, educate them on the role of the food bank in the community and deploy them as agents of change to help feed hungry neighbors.

Foster. Educate. Engage. Deploy will be held on Wednesday, July 17 from 11am to Noon at the Main Street Recreation center located at 501 Hill Avenue.
