Mission Accomplished! Summer Reading Goals Achieved!

GEPL News Black BannerTwo Large CIrcles of Colorful Spoons Suspended From the Cieling With Read to Feed: 100 Hour ReadersThe Glen Ellyn Public Library is proud to announce that the community has exceeded the library’s lofty Summer Reading challenges to have children read 70,000 hours and adults to read 3,500 books.

The 2013 final Summer Reading totals show that children read 72,465 hours and adults read 3,991 books between May 16 and August 12.

The Glen Ellyn Public Library would like to thank the entire community for their determination in achieving both reading goals.
