GEPL News Black BannerBookFest: Downtown Glen Ellyn Celebrates Books LogoThe Glen Ellyn Public Library, The Bookstore and Bundles of Books are excited to present the forth annual BookFest on Saturday, September 28. BookFest is a daylong literary festival located in downtown Glen Ellyn with tons of programming geared toward authors and booklovers of all ages.

Full schedule of BookFest Events:

9:30-10:30am: PitchFest (GEPL 2 nd Floor): PitchFest is a fast-paced program providing authors 60 seconds to pitch their books and convince the audience to make it their next read.
10-11:30am: Author Mathew Cordell (The Bookstore): Local illustrator and children’s author Matt Cordell will read from his latest books Another Brother and Trouble Gum.
11am-2pm: Author Trade Show (GEPL Meeting Room): Dozens of authors will sell and sign copies of their latest books.
11:30-1:30pm: Author Panel Luncheon: Sold Out!
2-3:30pm: Author Judith Fradin (The Bookstore): Judith Fardin, a Chicago-based author of multiple children’s books published by National Geographic kids, will host an interactive reading from her favorite books.
2:30-4pm: Featured Presenter Ayana Mathis (GEPL 2ndFloor): New York Times bestselling author Ayana Mathis will discuss her acclaimed debut novel, The Twelve Tribes of Hattie, which was selected to Oprah’s Book Club 2.0.
