Visit GEPL’s Holiday Walk on November 29

GEPL News Black BannerOn Friday, November 29, the Glen Ellyn Public Library will host its annual “Holiday Walk” from 1:30 to 4:30pm.

The Holiday Walk features three floors of live entertainment, arts and crafts, book sales and refreshments leading up to the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce’s Tree Lighting Ceremony.

“The Holiday Walk continues to be one our library’s most popular events,” says Library Director Dawn Bussey. “The Glen Ellyn Public Library is committed to deliver high quality family entertainment and our Holiday Walk is a wonderful winter event that unites our community and allows everyone to celebrate the spirit of the season together.”

To assist the community in celebrating the season, this year’s Holiday Walk will feature interactive arts and crafts stations, a variety show for kids featuring magic, juggling and a unicycle, plus live musical performances by Vivaldi Strings, Anima Singers, One Voice Choir and The Glenbard South Madrigal Singers.

The Friends of the Glen Ellyn Library will host a Used Book Sale from Noon to 4:30pm in the library’s basement.

Full Performance Schedule:

Vivaldi Strings: 1:45pm to 2:15pm

Anima Singers: 2:30pm to 3pm

One Voice Choir: 3:15pm to 3:45pm

Family Variety Show: 3:30pm to 4:30pm

Glenbard South High School Madrigal Singers: 4pm to 4:30pm
