The Glen Ellyn Public Library is a welcoming space for people of all abilities.


Glen Ellyn Public Library maintains a popular fiction and nonfiction collection in Large Print. The Large Print collection, including Large Print Readers Digest is on the second floor of the library.
Glen Ellyn Public Library maintains an Audiobook Collection of fiction and nonfiction titles available in CD format and Playaway format. Items available in both the youth and adult departments.
Glen Ellyn Public Library subscribes to several ebook and eaudiobook libraries. Glen Ellyn Public Library card holders can download and read or listen to their books on a variety of devices including Kindles, smartphones and tablets. New to ebooks? Adaptive Technology

Earbuds are available for free at the 2nd floor Information Desk for members using the library’s computers.
The Glen Ellyn Public Library has a TeleSensory Magnification Machine to assist members with limited vision. Ask about using this machine at the 2nd Floor Information Desk.
Several types of text magnifiers are available at the 2nd Floor Information Desk on request.
Sound Wizards are available for use during library programs and classes to help amplify sound for the hearing impaired. Call ahead to reserve one for the next program or class you attend.
Largetype, high-contrast keyboard available upon request at the 2nd Floor Information Desk.


Home Delivery Service is for Glen Ellyn Public Library members of any age who want to use library materials, but who due to temporary or permanent circumstances are unable to visit the library on a regular basis. Visit the Home Delivery page for details.
Thirty minute, one-on-one appointments with a librarian to answer your specific technology related questions are available by visiting Tech Help or by calling 630-790-6630.
A one on one reading program is available for all patrons with a visual impairment. Anyone who needs reading assistance (mail, personal paperwork, other printed materials) is encouraged to register and find out more by calling Blind Service Association at 312-458-9006.
