Rain. This is the summer of rain. What have you been doing when the weather outside is frightfully wet? Obviously, reading comes to mind for me. I think a lot of other people have this idea, as the library is usually pretty busy during the soggy times of the day. What did you like about it?: I loved this book because it’s about a boy named Doug Sweiteck who’s life isn’t the best.He is moving to a town called Marysville that he thinks is stupid, he has family issues especially with his brothers and dad, his brother gets home from fighting in the Vietnam war and needs a job, Doug learns to draw Audubon’s birds and tries to find all the missing pages from Audubons book and place them where they belong, he always gets in trouble at school, and he tries to make new friends.It feels like things always go wrong, and he can’t seem to fix anything. His life and views of the world completely change throughout the book. Things go wrong, and something completely unexpected always happens. It is definitely a book worth reading.

Who would like this?: Someone who loves realistic fiction.

She meets new people who are called roof toppers. They can jump high and balance on rope 50 feet from the ground. That is why I like the book Rooftoppers.

What did you like about it?: twenty one pilots (no, it is not capitalized) is an amazing, powerful, outspoken band that is not afraid to share their fears and dreams with the music world. This statement is proven in their newest album- Blurryface. The band speaks about their insecurities and how they’ve grown to learn how to over come them. Blurryface inspires me as an individual and has taught me to accept myself no matter what.

Who would like this?: Punk-rock fans, fans of Fall Out Boy, fans of Panic! At the Disco.
