Annual Used Book Sale (2008)

The Friends of the Library will be holding their annual book sale Friday, March 14, 5-8 p.m. and Saturday, March 15, 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Main Street Park District building, 501 North Main Street (corner of Main and Hill streets). There is a $5 entry fee for the Friday premier night and no charge on Saturday. On Saturday from 3:00 - 4:00 buy one and get one free. You will find books of many types including adult, youth and children’s fiction, history, biography, self-help, mysteries, cookbooks and craft books, and many more. Please come support your library and purchase quality used books at a great price!

We are now accepting donations at the main desk of the library during regular hours. Donations need to be boxed or bagged please. Assistance with bringing in donations is available on: Saturday, February 16, 9a.m. - 5 p.m, Sunday Febraury 17, 1-5 p.m., Saturday, February 23, 9 - 5 p.m. and Sunday February 24, 1-5 p.m.

We are looking for adult and children's books in good condition, audio books, videos, DVD's, recent computer games and software, and music (CD's, cassettes, albums.)  We cannot accept encyclopedia sets, textbooks, old computer software and manuals, magazines, an damaged, musty, or outdated materials.  For more information call Gina Meyers at 630-858-2972 or email at grmeyers477@aol.com.
