Annual Community Mailing
FOL makes an annual mailing to community households and businesses asking for voluntary contributions. These contributions fund the library’s collections. These contributions typically raise more than $15,000 for the library.
FOL members and friends fold the solicitation letter and stuff it with a return envelope into an envelope, and a preprinted mailing label is affixed. This is a great one day service opportunity to undertake with friends, coffee, a free lunch, and loads of conversation. Volunteers may come for one hour or six hours, as their schedule permits. Childcare may be provided, if arranged in advance.
The next annual community mailing will occur October 23, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.
