The Glen Ellyn Public Library is joining the effort to create a greener society. Here are some of the ways the library attempts to help the environment.

• Recycling paper, cardboard, aluminum cans and plastic bottles
• Recycling of damaged plastic cd cases
• Creation of the paperless electronic newsletter
• Creation of the paperless board packet
• Email notices (overdues and reserves)
