Frank Lloyd Wright, who played with the blocks extensively as a child, credited them with inspiring his innovative Prairie style. This family friendly workshop is presented by the Frank Lloyd Wright Trust. Parents and children must register. For grades 1-5.

Meet Thomas Armstrong and listen as he describes his experiences as a Freedom Rider. Thomas Armstrong is a veteran of the early 1960s Civil Rights Movement in his native Mississippi. He was at the forefront of early protests led by black Southerners for voting rights and later became an influential activist in the Freedom Riders movement. His book, Autobiography of a Freedom Rider: My Life as a Foot Soldier for Civil Rights, will be available for sale and signing.
