Did you know that middle school students have MacBooks available for use inside the library? Stop by the Youth Information Desk and use your school ID or library card and a MacBook is yours for one-hour per day. You can browse the internet, or use one of the preloaded apps like iMovie, Photo Booth or GarageBand.
The library has a fleet of Spheros, miniature sphere robots, that you can use to learn coding, play group games, or use augmented reality! Play with Spheros during events such as Half-Day Hang-Outs and STEAM Fair.
Design a 3D design and email it to the library for printing. The library will send you an email when your design is printed and ready for pick up. You can also watch either of the library’s 3D printers in action from their home in the Youth Department, right outside The Middle. Learn more about the library’s 3D printing services.
LittleBits are tiny circuits with singular functions that you can combine to make something much bigger. You can use LittleBits at events like Half-Day Hang-Outs and Crafternoons.
