Friends of the Glen Ellyn Public Library (FOL) is a volunteer organization dedicated to raising funds to supplement the library’s annual budget for materials and programs and supporting literacy initiatives in the local community. Upcoming Used Book Sale Schedule
We typically hold our used book sales in the library basement on a bimonthly basis—usually the third Saturday of every other month (with some exceptions for special events). Our upcoming schedule is as follows:
Saturday, March 18, 11 am — 2 pm (During the STEAM Fair)
Saturday, May 13, 9 am — 2 pm
Monday, June 5, 7—8:30 pm (During the Ice Cream Social)
Saturday, July 15, 9 am — 2 pm
Saturday, September 16, 9 am — 2 pm
Sunday, September 17, 1—4 pm (Books by the Bag)
Friday, November 24, Noon—4:30 pm (During the Holiday Walk)
Donate Items for Our Book Sales
Donations for used book sales may be dropped off at the library’s Circulation Desk at any time. We are looking for quality adult and children’s books in good condition, textbooks, audiobooks, DVDs, recent computer games and software, and music (CDs and albums). We cannot accept encyclopedia sets, old computer software and manuals, weekly magazines, or damaged, musty or outdated materials. Please box or bag your donations.
