Play and Learn Together
Help your child develop early reading, writing, math and science skills through play.Smart Starts is a hands-on, interactive environment where adults help children develop early reading, writing, math and science skills through play. Several crafts, games and experiential activities are focused around a weekly theme and are designed to engage children ages 2 to 6.
Smart Starts runs Tuesday through Thursday. Drop in anytime during the scheduled hours.

|February 28 – March 2||Rhyme Time: Increase your child’s reading skills by playing with letter sounds, cadence and language structures through rhyming.|
|March 7-9||Budding Builders: Bring out the engineer in your child as you construct with traditional and inventive building materials.|
|March 14-16||Forest Explorer: Discover different animal types, make a fun nature craft, and use your five senses to explore the forest around you.|
|March 21-23||Sort Count: Use your five senses to organize and sort the world around you.|
