Smart Starts is a hands-on, interactive environment where adults help children develop early reading, writing, math and science skills through play. Several crafts, games and experiential activities are focused around a weekly theme and are designed to engage children ages 2 to 6.Smart Starts runs Tuesday through Thursday. Drop in anytime during the scheduled hours.

Smart Starts Runs October 24 through November 16.

Weekly Themes

October 24-26 Puzzle Power: Solve puzzles at various skill levels and create your own puzzle for others to solve.
October 31 – November 2 Water Color Wonder: Explore, create, and play with a rainbow of colors.
November 7-9 Playful Patterns: Have fun identifying and creating patterns.
November 14-16 Animal Antics: Learn about habitats and behaviors, and make a bird feeder to continue your observations
