Assignment Alerts

Assignment Alerts help librarians assist your students as they search for material to fulfill an assignment. Librarians want to make sure that there are enough library materials available for as many students researching the same topic as possible. If you submit an Assignment Alert, librarians will create a homework shelf of materials that stay at the library for the use of all your students. If it is possible to send a copy of the assignment, this will assist staff when putting aside materials and helping students.

Assignment Alerts can be sent by filling out the form below. Please remember that the more time and information you give, the better the selection will be.

Consider allowing your students to also gather data from one of the library’s databases (view available databases). Some may require a student to have a library card in order to sign in from home. Access is available to everyone when they are in the library.
