I’m Colin, and I am an 8th grader at Glen Crest Middle School. I’ll be reviewing The Alchemyst: The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel by Michael Scott.
I liked The Alchemyst because of the amount of depth the story had. The two main characters, twins Sophie and Josh, find a man known as Nicholas Flamel. They travel around the world and learn different magics such as Air and Fire. Along with the main antagonist, Dee, they fight for control over the Codex, which contains the power of everlasting life.
I give this book five stars.
