Valentine’s Day is a great time to celebrate love for your whole family.
Have your kids make a gift for Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, or another loved one. Work together to create a frame in which the kids can either put a photograph of themselves or a self-drawn picture. Get started by attending “Picture Me Yours” tomorrow! It can also be fun to make your own pop-up cards .
Once your gift and card are done, start planning your Valentine’s Day celebration. Order or make a heart-shaped pizza, and include something sweet to follow up your dinner.
My favorite dessert is brownies with heart shaped sprinkles—yum! Afterwards, watch some old videos of the kids when they were younger, or, even better—parents, bring out your wedding video. Have your kids “interview” you about how you and your spouse met or share another family memory. You might even consider planning your next family adventure, whether it be a camping trip, a museum visit, or a summer vacation.
