The Emerging Authors collection on the 2nd floor highlights authors who either live in the Chicago Metropolitan area or whose book takes place here. This donation-based collection helps authors, many of whom are self-published, promote their books and reach a wider audience.

Self-published authors can also check out inkie.org , which provides online creation and publishing tools. The Pressbooks software enables writers to convert manuscripts into a variety of ebook and print formats.

Author Christine Kindberg lives in the Chicago area.
The Love Anthology by The Writing Journey:
