Solar Power Hour

The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) provides information on all you need to know about going solar. Learn the basics of solar, new Illinois solar incentives, solar’s financial implications for your household, and why this year is the best time to take advantage of state and federal solar incentives. CUB will also discuss Solar for All, Illinois’ new low-income solar program, the difference between leasing and owning solar panels, and Solarize Chicagoland, a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community education to make solar more accessible and affordable. Solarize Chicagoland is a partnership between CUB and Cook, DuPage, Kane and Will Counties.
