This school year will be very different. Digital learning and a big focus on the basics. What about the “specials:” art, music, PE, and library?
The Glen Ellyn Public Library has you covered. We can be your Library Special and provide books and other materials to assist with all subjects and specials. We even have a new database to help with homework. HelpNow provides members of all ages live online homework help from 2-11 pm every day, writing lab assistance, test prep, video lessons, and study tools. Parents, I don’t know about you, but the way math is taught these days is nothing like the way I was taught back in the pre-digital age. Even the vocabulary is different! To solve 12-6, you no longer borrow, you regroup. It makes my brain hurt. So, let the trained teachers at HelpNow save you from those math headaches!
In addition, we now subscribe to TumbleMath , a great collection of math-related picture books that can help explain math concepts to your students.
In the mood for some creative and messy fun for your Art Special? We’ve got books for that. Try:
