- Create a daily routine. Whether in person or virtual, it’s important to create a daily routine for the school week. An “early to bed, early to rise” routine along with a consistent breakfast helps you get in the right mindset to prepare for the day.
- Reevaluate homework time. Take your time with reading assignments and studying for tests. The temptation to go outside or play a video game may be strong, but try to have your assignments completed before enjoying your downtime. Reading before bed is great, and it helps promote regular sleep, which we all could use.
- Care for you. Take care of yourself—physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, and relationally. Make it a priority.
