Temporary Face Coverings Policy

NOTE: While in the library, persons who have not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are over the age of two (2) must wear a secured face covering (mask) over their nose and mouth and must keep a six-foot distance from all other persons when practicable.

You can view the current library occupancy online any time.

All persons over the age of two (2) entering the library must wear a secured face covering over their nose and mouth and must keep a six-foot distance from all other persons when practicable. Reasonable accommodations such as a reusable face shield, drive-up window service and online resources are available to those who are medically prevented from or decline to wear a face covering. Those refusing to wear a face covering and/or to maintain six-foot distance when practical shall be required to leave the library. This policy shall be lifted automatically when the Illinois Department of Public Health declares that the state has reached Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois Plan. The policy shall be reinstated automatically should the Illinois Department of Public Health determine that the state must return to any phase lower than Phase 5 of the Restore Illinois plan.
