Meet the Authors
Middle School Author Dan Gemeinhart
Saturday, April 29 | 10-11 am and 2-3 pm
Author Dan Gemeinhart will speak about his passion for writing, as well as about his books, including his newest book Scar Island. A Q&A session will follow with questions submitted in advance to Middle School Librarian Christina Keasler at email@example.com. When submitting questions, please include your contact information and which session you plan on attending. For grades 6-8. Parents also welcome to register. Reserve your spot.
Be sure to bring your favorite Dan Gemeinhart book to be autographed after the discussion. A representative from The Bookstore will have copies of Scar Island available for sale at the library.
Gemeinhart FanFiction Contest
Submissions accepted through March 31
Do you love to write fanfiction? Write a fanfiction story, of any length, inspired by one of Dan Gemeinhart’s books and email to Christina Keasler, Middle School Librarian at firstname.lastname@example.org. Up to five lucky contest winners will have lunch with Dan Gemeinhart on Saturday, April 29.
Children’s Author Sherri Duskey Rinker

Author Sherri Duskey Rinker will talk about her books, including her new books Silly Wonderful You and Mighty, Mighty Construction Site, her writing process, and where she looks for new ideas for stories. She will also take questions from the audience. For kids of all ages. Reserve your spot.
