Youth Hygge Programs

Snug as a Bug Storytime
Friday, January 5 | 11 am-12 pm
Wear your jammies and get cozy with stories such as The Mitten by Jan Brett. Make your own no-tie pillow to take home. For grades 1-3.

Let It Snow!
Thursday, February 15 | 4-5 pm
Create snowflakes, play snowball bucket toss, and enjoy some sweet treats next to a cozy virtual fireplace with a crackling fire. For grades 3-5.

Adult Hygge Programs

Hygge Cocktails at Maize+Mash
Wednesday, January 24 | 6:30-7:30 pm | 430 N. Main Street
Sharpen your basic mixology skills with Garrett Turnquist, GM of Maize+Mash in downtown Glen Ellyn, as he shows you how to mix hygge-themed cocktails. Tickets are $22 and include a tasting menu crafted by Head Chef Stuart McLuckie that will complement 4 (4 oz.) cocktails. Must be 21 or older to attend. Purchase your tickets.

Hygge Quick Knit at Main Street Pub
Tuesday, February 27 | 7-8:30 pm | 466 N. Main Street
“Cast-on” with pub knitting at Main Street Pub in downtown Glen Ellyn. Tickets are $18 and include a knit kit: everything needed for a simple and fun project suitable for first-time knitters and experts alike. Knitting needles, food, and drink may be purchased at an additional cost. Must be 21 or older to attend. Purchase your tickets.
