Volunteer Fair

Glen Ellyn Public Library Volunteer Fair

Learn about volunteering opportunities in the community. Representatives from a variety of nonprofit organizations will be present to talk about their organizations, volunteering positions, and more.

These locally based groups will include the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, Bridge Communities, ESSE Adult Day Services, Teen Parent Connection, and Humanitarian Service Project.

Restoration Work Days with the Park District

Saturday, April 14 | 9-11 am | Danby Park | 280 Duane Street
Saturday, May 12 | 9-11 am | Ellynwood Nature Preserve | 801 Ellynwood Drive
Help beautify Glen Ellyn green spaces by volunteering your time with the Glen Ellyn Park District. Clear invasive plants, clean up trash, plant native seeds and plants, maintain trails, and more. Be sure to wear boots or closed-toed shoes, pants, and work gloves. For grades 9-12. Reserve your spot.
