Smart Starts is a hands-on, interactive environment where adults help children develop early reading, writing, math, and science skills through play. Several crafts, games, and experiential activities are focused around a weekly theme and are designed to engage children ages 2 to 6.

Smart Starts runs Tuesday through Thursday. Drop in anytime during the scheduled hours.

Weekly Themes

October 23-25 Feelings: Identify and express various emotions through lively games and activities featuring emojis.
October 30-November 1 Pattern Play: Experiment and play with different patterns and dizzying designs.
November 6-8 Five Alive Senses: Learn about your five senses through fun games and interactive play.
November 13-15 Building Blocks of Words: Practice and build letter recognition skills using a multi-sensory approach.
