Fall Storytimes – September 23-November 15

* Storytime nametags are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis 15 minutes prior to start time.

Storytime at the Library
The Glen Ellyn Public Library offers a variety of storytimes for children starting at birth. During librarian-led programs that incorporate stories, songs, movement, rhymes, and other storytime activities, your child will learn to love reading and the library. View the full Storytime Schedule.

Itty Bitties
For birth to 9 months and their grownups.
Enjoy cuddling, singing, lapsit bouncing, and baby’s first stories in this session especially for our littlest readers. Expectant parents are welcome, as it’s never to early to start reading aloud to your baby. After storytime, grownups will have the chance to socialize while the babies play.

Book Babies
For birth to 24 months and their grownups.
It’s never too early to start reading to your baby! This interactive class features stories, songs, bubbles, and playtime. (Max. 20)

Toddler Tales
For ages 18-36 months and their grownups.
Join this interactive class with songs, movement, and activities designed just for toddlers. (Max. 20)

Bilingual Storytime | Hora de Cuentos Bilingüe
For all ages and their grownups.
Enjoy fun books, poems, songs, and fingerplays in both English and Spanish. All ages welcome.

Preschool Pages
For ages 3-5 years, children attend independently.
Listen to stories, play games, and have fun while developing early literacy skills in the class for big kids. (Max. 20)

Together Time
For all ages and their grownups.
This dynamic session will promote child and caregiver bonding through creating, singing, playing, and sharing stories together.

Get Up and Groove!
For all ages and their grownups.
Dance and sing to various melodies in the music and movement program! Adults must remain with their children throughout the program.

Sensory Saturday
For birth to 5 years.
Engage your senses with a variety of sensory art projects and sensory play at this inclusive play group for children who receive therapy.

Stay after storytime or just drop-in for an open playtime. Play with toys, listen to music, and have fun with friends!
