Winter Storytimes at GEPL – January 7 through February 16

* Spaces are limited. Storytime nametags will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis 15 minutes prior to start time.

Storytime at the Library
The Glen Ellyn Public Library offers a variety of storytimes for children starting at birth. During librarian-led programs that incorporate stories, songs, movement, rhymes, and other storytime activities, your child will learn to love reading and the library. Book Babies
For ages birth to 24 months with a parent/caregiver.
It’s never too early to start reading to your baby! This interactive class features stories, songs, bubbles, and playtime. (Max. 20)

Toddler Tales
For ages 18-36 months with a parent/caregiver.
Join this interactive class with songs, movement, and activities designed just for toddlers. (Max. 25)

Preschool Pages
For ages 3-5 years, children attend independently.
Listen to stories, play games, and have fun while developing early literacy skills in the class for big kids. (Max. 20)

Family Storytime
For all ages and their parent/caregiver.
Drop in for fun-filled storytime with books, music, storytelling, and more. Adults must remain with their children throughout the program.

Get Up and Groove!
For all ages and their parent/caregiver.
Dance and sing to various melodies in the music and movement program! Adults must remain with their children throughout the program.

Sensory Saturday
For birth through 5 years.
Engage your senses with a variety of sensory art projects and sensory play at this inclusive play group for children who receive therapy.

Stay after storytime or just drop-in for an open playtime. Play with toys, listen to music, and have fun with friends!
