Hello there! I’m Beth Kirchenberg, the new Middle School Librarian.
I was born in a small town in Northern Michigan, but have lived in the Chicagoland area for the past ten years. Prior to joining the Glen Ellyn Public Library, I was the Middle School and Teen Librarian at River Forest Public Library for seven years.
I enjoy reading graphic novels, horrors, thrillers, and rom-coms. If there is time travel involved, count me in! I probably spend too much time bingeing the latest streaming TV series, but I am always looking for more to be added to my watch list. Send your recommendation my way!
Other than reading and TV, I enjoy concerts of all kinds and dabble in crafts from crochet to gouache painting to cross-stitch, so keep your eyes peeled for some creative hands-on programs.
