Since the Community Cupboard in the library lobby opened its doors on August 14, more than $800 in donated items have been distributed!
Staff re-stock the cupboard three times each day, and we need your donations to continue to provide socks, t-shirts, hygiene items, and letter-writing materials to community members in need. To date, the most needed items have been socks, rain ponchos, and personal hygiene items such as baby wipes, deodorant, and toothpaste.
We are currently asking organizations in the community to donate to the cupboard. Donations can be monetary or gift cards with frequency of
- one-time gifts
- on-going support
- sponsorship of the cupboard for a month using our Amazon Wish List
All identifiable donations will be recognized by the library on social media. Month-long sponsors will be recognized on the sign in the library that identifies the Community Cupboard during their sponsorship month.
For your convenience, items on our Amazon Wish List can be shipped directly to the library. Organizations can also donate via Paypal .
