Veterans History Project

In honor of Veterans Day on Friday, November 11, Glen Ellyn Public Library has remastered three interviews conducted by the library as part of the 2008 Veterans History Project and will release them weekly beginning Friday, October 28.

The Veterans History Project of the American Folklife Center collects, preserves, and makes accessible the personal accounts of American war veterans so that future generations may hear directly from veterans and better understand the realities of war.
