On the 1st floor…
find family-friendly frights. Participate in a scavenger hunt of Halloween-themed icons throughout the Youth Department, an all-ages costume parade at 6:30 pm, and some button making at the Library Services desk courtesy of The Workshop. Light snacks will be available during screenings of some not-so-scary stories in the North and South Meeting Rooms. Shining Stars Theatre will be performing in east end of the Youth Department, while photos with characters Jack Skellington & Sally, Wednesday Addams, and Bluey will be available in the west end.
On the 2nd floor…
find a tour throughout the stacks and several rooms containing five scary scenes from horror novels: Frankenstein, The Ring, Beetlejuice, The Woman in Black, and Dracula. The tour is expected to last around 10 minutes.
