If you commute on the Union Pacific – West line, the library has a new set of ads! The public libraries located on the Union Pacific West line have collaborated to produce the next series of ads on Metra train cars on the Union Pacific West line to encourage riders to make their next stop a public library.
These new ads are the second in The Next Stop: The Library campaign’s quarterly ads to help people remember that public libraries are community resources where you can encourage a summer reading habit, get books to read on the go, meet people in your community, and find an indoor space to play and learn. As part of the coordinated effort, the design was created by Gabriela Denton, the graphic designer at Oak Park Public Library.
